🛠️ Preparation
- Computer: A computer with internet access to download the update files and a FAT32-formatted USB flash drive.
- Check software version: Press the Settings button on the projector remote control, then go to Settings → Help & Feedback → System Message → Software Version. If the version number is V0000.01.00U.Q1015, you already have the latest software version and no update is required.
⭕【2 Ways to Update Your Projector Android Firmware】
⚠️Important Note: You will not be able to roll back to the previous firmware version once the update is completed.
✨Method 1 - Android Firmware Update by OTA
Note:
If the Network upgrade cannot detect a new version, this is because Google's system update strategy uses staged/percentage-based rollout, so the update may not be immediately available. Please wait patiently.
If you prefer to update immediately, you have to use the other way to upgrade firmware thru USB upgrade method.
The recommended and easier way to finish the software updates is to use the Network Upgrade method. And with the Network Upgrade feature enabled, you will automatically receive a notification to update your projector.
The projector will automatically restart. Do not power it off during the entire upgrade process.
1. Connect to the network via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
2. Press the Settings button on the projector remote control, then go to Settings → System → About → System Update → Upgrade from Network. Once a new version is detected, select Upgrade.
3. The projector will automatically download, verify, and install the update package following the demo steps below.
* Do not power off during update
4. Following the demo images below, select OK to restart.
5. Check the updated software version.
Press the Settings button on the projector remote control, then go to Settings → Help & Feedback → System Message → Software Version.
If the version number is V0000.01.00U.Q1015, the software update was successful.
If the version number is not V0000.01.00U.Q1015, it is recommended to upgrade the projector again.
⚠️The prefix of the version number varies depending on the region; only the last four digits need to be confirmed.
✨Method 2 - Android Firmware Update by USB Flash Drive
Note:
If your projector has no network connection, or you don't want to wait for the Google system update to be pushed, you can also update the software using a USB flash drive.
