This guide provides the steps to check your current firmware version and perform a manual update to ensure your projector is running the latest software.
1. Check Software Version
Go to Settings > About > Information.
If your System Version is earlier than
20250506, a manual update is recommended.
2. Perform a manual update
If an update is required, follow these steps to prepare and install the firmware.
Preparation:
A FAT32 format USB drive.
Access to the official firmware download page: AWOL Vision Firmware Folder
Instructions:
Format the USB drive: Ensure your USB drive is formatted to FAT32.
Prepare the update files: Download the update package from the link above. Copy the
USB UpgradeandKingVersionfiles directly to the root directory of your USB drive (do not place them inside any folders).Execute the update: Power on the projector, insert the USB drive into the USB port located on the right side of the projector, and follow the on-screen prompts to perform the update.
⚠️ Important: Do not power off or disconnect the projector during the update process.
3. Troubleshooting
If the update fails, please try the following:
Verify file system: Ensure the USB drive is correctly formatted to FAT32.
Try a different drive: Attempt the process again using a different USB drive.
