🛠️ Preparation - Check the Android Software Version
- Method 1: Press Settings on the remote -> Help & Feedback -> System Message -> Software version.
- Method 2: Press Menu on the remote -> Help -> System Message.
If the version is V0000.01.00V.Q0421 or higher, your software is up to date. No update is required.

🟦 PART 1: ANDROID SOFTWARE UPGRADE GUIDE🟦
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICES (MUST READ)
• ⚠️ DO NOT POWER OFF: Never disconnect power or turn off the projector while updating.
• Read Carefully: Incorrect operation could cause the projector to become unresponsive or require a repair.
• Do not press any buttons, except the ones mentioned in the instructions.
• Prepare a blank USB flash drive formatted in FAT32. Do not unplug the USB drive during the upgrade process.
• Check and disable features such as scheduled shutdown or sleep timers.
• Disconnect Devices: Unplug external devices to prevent interference.
🛠️ PREPARATION
• Computer (can access the Internet to download android firmware files)
• Blank USB Flash Drive (FAT32 format)
Step 1: ⬇️ Download the Update
Before you install the update, you'll need to download the update files from the Internet and save them to a FAT32 format only USB flash drive.

Setup: Connect the USB flash drive to your computer, go to the location where the downloaded files saved, and copy the
Forcedupgrade_image.pkginto the root directory of the USB flash drive.Remove the USB flash drive from your computer and continue to the next steps
Step 2: ⚙️ Install the Update
Once the update files are downloaded to your USB flash drive, install the files on your projector. The process can take up to 30 minutes and during the installation, your projector will turn off automatically before turning itself back on.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: DO NOT turn off the projector or unplug power during this process.
Setup: Ensure no other USB devices are connected to your projector.

Turn on the projector and go to the Google TV homepage.

Connect the USB flash drive with upgraded files to the projector USB port, and it’s recommended to use the projector USB3.0 port. Wait for the USB system upgrade countdown to end, and the projector will automatically begin the system upgrade.

4. Check the updated Android software version
- 4.1 Press Settings⚙️ on the remote -> Help & Feedback -> System Message -> Software version
- 4.2 Check your unit software version info.
- If the version number is V0000.01.00V.Q0421, the software update was successful.✅

If the version number isn't V0000.01.00V.Q0421 it’s recommended to upgrade the projector again.
🟥 PART 2: DLP SOFTWARE UPGRADE🟥
💡 Before You Begin:
Is this DLP update necessary? No, it is not recommended unless advised by technical support.
If your projector is operating normally, a DLP firmware update is not required at this time. Upgrading the Android software to version Q0421 is sufficient to ensure optimal system stability.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICES (MUST READ)
- Do not turn off the projector or disconnect it from the power source during the update process.
- Do not press any buttons except those explicitly mentioned in the instructions.
- Check and disable any automatic features such as scheduled shutdown or sleep timers.
- Unplug all external devices to prevent unintended shutdowns or interference.
- Turn off Wi-Fi and disconnect any network cables.
- A black screen during the update process is NORMAL. Please wait patiently for up to 15 minutes.
🛠️ PREPARATION
• A Windows 10/11 computer.
• A USB-to-Micro USB cable. (located in the black foam packaging)
Step 1: ⬇️ Download & Install the TI DLP Control Program
Before you install the update, you'll need to download the update files from the Internet and save them to a FAT32 format only USB flash drive.

Setup: Download the
.rarfile to a Windows 10/11 computer. Extract the.rarfile, then runDLPControlProgram.16.0.4.1.Setup.exeand follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. After installation, a folder named “DLP Control Program 16.0.4.1” will be created.-
Path Note: Ensure the installation path uses only English letters/numbers.
Step 2: ⚙️ Flash the Update

⚠️ IMPORTANT: DO NOT power off. The installation and update process is expected to take approximately 15 minutes. A black screen or louder fan noise are NORMAL.
2.1 Connection: Use a USB-to-Micro USB cable to connect your PC to the projector. Plug the USB end into the computer and the Micro USB end into the projector showed as below picture.
2.2 Projector Setting: Press the ⚙️ button on the remote control tto enter Settings, then follow the path “All Settings → System → Power & Energy”.
Set Shut-Off Timer to Never, and return to the home screen.
2.3 On the Windows 10/11 computer with TI DLP Control Program installed, open
DLPComposer.ControlProgram.exe. located in the “DLP Control Program 16.0.4.1” folder.2.4 Select DLPC84xx Display Controller. After selection, the program will automatically restart once showed as below picture.
2.5 Click Connect in the Command Interface section to establish a connection with the projector.
2.6 Go to Flash Program option on the left → Import
AWOL_DLP_Upgrade.img.Checksum Check: Make sure the current file Checksum is
0x184ACD935BD3B9A6.Click Program Flash to start the upgrade.
Step 3: ✅ Finalize
- Completion: When the program indicates that the upgrade is successful showed as below picture and the projector will display an image, please unplug the Micro USB cable from the projector, then use Remote go to All Settings > System > Restart to manually restart the projector. (Louder fan noises are NORMAL during upgrade.)
The upgrade is now complete!✅
