Does eARC support 7.1 audio internally?

While Aetherion projectors support eARC for 7.1 audio passthrough, it is important to note that the projector itself does not process the audio internally. The eARC feature on the projector allows 7.1 audio to be passed through to an external AV receiver (AVR) or soundbar that supports 7.1 surround sound.

However, the internal apps (such as those on Google TV) cannot decode or process 7.1 audio directly. Therefore, if you’re using the internal apps, the audio will not come through in 7.1 surround sound unless it’s routed to an external device capable of handling it.
