🚀 The following applies to the Aetherion Max & Pro:
The EBL feature is specifically designed to improve black levels in darker scenes, which means it only works well during the dark scene (low APL input source). In bright scenes, contrast enhancements do not create meaningful differences.
Aetherion Max/Pro has a native contrast ratio of 6,000:1, which also increases to 60,000:1 with EBL enabled.
✅️How to enable EBL function:
You can press the Settings button on the remote, go to All Settings> Display&Sound > Picture > Laser Luminance > Enhanced Black Level, and choose to turn this feature on or off.
💡To achieve the best results:
1)Ensure your room is as dark as possible to minimize ambient light interference.
2)Adjust projector settings by increasing laser luminance before enabling EBL to enhance perceived contrast.
3)Using a high-gain screen can reduce the visibility of the EBL effect. For best performance, please choose a low-gain screen(like matte white screen).
4) Ensure all settings windows are closed, so only the test image is displayed. Brightness from the settings window can prevent EBL from activating.
💡Recommended dark scenes to experience EBL:
1)Movie Scene Test:
During our internal testing, including on a white wall, we found that the 1-hour 49-minute mark of the 2014 movie Godzilla clearly demonstrates the impact of EBL. In this scene, the deeper blacks and improved contrast are evident.
2) EBL test card:
